Built in 1928, Marcus White Hall was originally constructed as the first residence hall on campus. The houses faculty members offices of the Math and Psychology Departments. It is named for Dr. Marcus White who, from 1894 to 1929, served as the seventh principal of the New Britain Normal School, which became Central Connecticut State University.
